OBITUARY
Petra Hart
September 13, 1927 – May 12, 2023

Petra Hart passed after a brief illness. She was 95 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late William D. Hart Jr. and a loving mother to Betty J. Hart, Patricia A. Hart, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Miss Pat, a nickname bestowed by her students, was born a middle child to a close family of 10 children. At the age of nine, she helped to care for her newborn sister Carmen. Pat and Carmen stayed close throughout her life. It was around that time that Miss Pat started teaching herself the craft of sewing, which she mastered and then taught for many years.
Miss Pat was a hairdresser by profession and owned her own shop for over 20 years. She was also the owner/operator of a porcelain doll reproduction studio where she taught doll-making and sewing. In her retirement years, she moved to West Palm Beach where she shared her talents with many students. Her varied hobbies included reading, quilting, bridge, Scrabble and winning. She overcame every challenge that was put in her path and was an inspiration to all.
A celebration of Miss Pat's life will be held this summer and announced at a future date.
