Doris (Rimmer, DuBois) Wyatt December 5, 1932 - July 27, 2021
Doris Wyatt, age 88, of Tucson AZ, formerly of Cement City, MI, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Banner University Hospital in Tucson AZ. She was born in Southport, England, the daughter of Albert and Doris (Bailey) Rimmer.
Doris immigrated to America at age 17 and received her American citizenship at age 23. She was a proud American! On June 14, 1952 in Brooklyn, MI, Doris was united in marriage to Jerry Morris DuBois Jr, on September 28, 1974. Together, they had 4 children, David, Dale, Michael and Deborah. Years after Morris’ death on September 28, 1974, she married Oscar Wyatt and he passed away on August 24, 1988. She worked in Jackson, MI at Spartan Electronics for many years, eventually retiring from there at age 76. Doris was a member of Cement City Baptist Church, Bethany Assembly of God in Adrian MI, The Eastern Stars, a Cub Scout den-mother, as well as a Brownie and Girl Scout leader. Not only did she love her children but she loved her children’s friends as if they were her own, and was often referred to as “Mama D”. Doris was also was an avid dog lover, having raised several dogs over her lifetime. She always had at least one dog at home with her. She is survived by 2 children, David (Sharon) DuBois of Jackson MI, Deborah (Ben) Labo of Tucson AZ, 2 granddaughters, Allison (Josh) Yeiter and Andrea (Sean) Bertolino, 4 step grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 16 great step grandchildren In addition to her parents and husbands (Morris DuBois and Oscar Wyatt) she was also preceded in death by her 3 brothers Dennis, Keith and Donald Rimmer, her 2 sisters, Lillian Watson, and Jenny Davis, 2 of her sons, Dale DuBois and Michael DuBois as well as a special step granddaughter in love, Jeanah Turner.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 10-12 EST. at Abundant Life Assembly of God, 130 S. Main St, Brooklyn MI. 49230. This will be recorded for anyone who is not able to or not comfortable coming in person.

Doris was a very sweet lady!! She would help anybody that needed help in prep at Sparton Electronics in Jackson, Michigan!!
She would be totally missed!!!
