Mikel Thomas Gilge

Mikel Thomas Gilge born October 29th, 1966 to Anita and Thomas Gilge in Twisp, WA. Deceased on January 24th, 2023 in Tacoma, WA. A resident of Suquamish, WA for the past 9 years. Mikel was a caring and loving father to his 4 children Brent Hutson, Takia Vardaman (husband Todd), Tabitha Brown (husband Bill) and step-son David Pace. Also leaving behind 8 grand-children Cameron, Anna, Keyanna, and Ciera Hutson, Kay'Lyn Vardaman, Billy and Brooklyn Brown, and Emily Pace. He was a man that loved dogs more than people. He loved the outdoors, anywhere away from the city and people. Loved hiking, fishing and spending time camping with his family. He was a strong believer in Bigfoot and always said he'd one-day meet one. Loved football, Seahawks of course. And a proud owner of his own company as a master carpenter. Mikel's death has affected many from family, friends to even his work customers and will be truly missed by many.
