Cesarek, Gerald C. "Papa Jerry" Age 85 sadly passed away on February 1, 2023 at West Marion Hospital, Ocala Florida. Devoted husband of 41 years to his loving wife, Ann March Cesarek. He was predeceased by his parent Walter and Lillian, and brothers Robert and Richard Cesarek. Dear brother of Lillian Locricchio and Lorraine Sherada. Loving Father of Coreen (Russell) Burns and Karla (Michael) Passalacqua, Christopher (Debra) Lega and Curtis (Julie) Lega. Cherished grandfather of Robyn Burns, Shana (George) Lega Parnell, Shannon (Richard) Burns Gibson, Kirsti (Trent) Lega Lindholm, Rachel (Michael) Matouk Blakely, and Hunter Lega. Proud Great Grandfather of Harris Parnell, Mila and Lee Gibson, Lochlan Lindholm, Mason and Camryn Blakely. Jerry was born in Hamtramck, Michigan on March 1, 1937. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He left the Detroit area in 1981 for Atlanta, Georgia, and retired to Ocala, Florida in 1993 after 35 years with the Chrysler Corporation. He was an avid golfer, trivia wizard, handyman, and loved to hear or tell a good joke. He had an infectious laugh and never knew a stranger. Family will attend interment services Monday March 6th at the Florida National Cemetery located in Bushnell, Florida. Friends and family are welcome to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Tuesday, March 7th, in Ocala, FL.
