OBITUARY
L Jean Timmermeister
June 28, 1928 – January 29, 2023

Lois Jean Timmermeister, known as Jean or L. Jean, was born to William and Marguerite (de Corsey) Richards in West Seattle, Washington, in 1928, and died in Spokane, Washington, in 2023. She was ninety-four.
She was a past officer of the Washington State Federation of Women's Clubs and the Photographic Society of America. She co-founded the Pacific Northwest Cornish Society. Her hobbies were genealogical research, photography and caring for her Bonzai trees and Cornish Rex cats.
Married four times and divorced three, she was widowed in 1967 by the death of husband August L. (Bud) Timmermeister. In his memory, Timmermeister remained her preferred last name.
Her survivors include brother Larry Richards, daughter Lynn Yaw and sons Richard LaBelle and Kurt Timmermeister. She is also survived by grandchildren Adam Yaw, Monica LaBelle, Jeffrey LaBelle, Bridget Swalling and Vincent LaBelle, step-grandchildren Quincy Shue and Christopher Tucker. Jean also had seven great-grandchildren, six great-step-grandchildren and one great-great-step-grandchild; as well as niece Cheryl Richards and nephews Steve Richards, Bill Richards and Jay Richards. Pre-deceasing her were brother William Richards and granddaughter Rebecca LaBelle.
As requested by Jean, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dementia Society of America.
The family thanks the staff at Moran Vista Senior Living and to Horizon Hospice and Palliative Care for the loving care they provided.
