Marty, I remember how humble you were coming up to the wards with the orders and how you were always so nice to visit with. Very polite and laughing and smiling. Thank you for bringing all those carts up that were so full!!! I liked when you or Chuck were bringing things up. Marty, I was so surprised to hear of your passing. I remember saying God Bless, Marty and doing the sign of the cross. Many staff at Eastern state hospital miss you and have some great memories or stories to tell.

I work at the Medical Lake Post Office. Marty collected the mail for the state institutions every other week. He did so for about the first ten years I was there before he took a promotion as a supervisor. It was from one of his replacements that I learned the sad news of his passing. I remember Marty as always being a very kind and gentle soul. He always came in with a cheerful attitude. I miss our morning visits. Rest in peace, friend. You will be greatly missed.

I worked with Marty for nearly 30 years. I had the dearest respect and affection for him. He was kind and thoughtful. Volunteered to go the extra mile and was so proud of his family. God received a very special Angel whom I am sure will watch over his loved ones fromHeaven.
