Roger James Wagner PhD

Roger J. Wagner of Woodland Hills, California passed away on February 2, 2023 at the age of 74. He was born on January 17, 1949 in Kansas City, Mo. Roger achieved a Doctor of Philosophy, from the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, at Purdue University. He worked as a Product, Mission and System Assurance Chief Engineer and Chief Scientist at Hughes Space and Communications / The Boeing Company. He had a passion for fine wine and enjoyed wine tasting in the Napa Valley as well as Paso Robles, Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Joan Wagner. He is survived by his wife, Norma Wagner, daughter Danielle Carlisle, her spouse John Carlisle, and grandchildren John Paul (JP) and Liana Grace. The family would like to thank Bing (Reinilda Gollena), Monique Alexander and Silver Alexander for the care and compassion they showed Roger in his final days.
