OBITUARY
Beth Ann Fusco
June 20, 1960 – May 15, 2023

Beth Ann Fusco, 62, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2023, in her home in Ventura, CA. Born Beth Ann Fitzpatrick in Belleville, NJ to John and Georgine Fitzpatrick, she graduated from West Essex High School in North Caldwell, NJ in 1978. Beth raised her sons, Austin and Matthew Fusco, in Essex Fells and Mendham, NJ.
Beth’s family remembers her as a kind and loving mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and niece. Her quick wit, sense of humor, and wealth of funny remarks brought joy and laughter to
many family gatherings. Family meant everything to Beth. She adored her brothers, Brian and Greg. Despite being the youngest, she was very protective of them both. She was a tireless working mom, driving her two sons to various sports and activities; fixing chocolate covered strawberries and snacks for them and their friends. She effortlessly organized birthday parties, graduation parties, baby showers, retirement parties and more. She traveled all over the world with her boys and for her job.
She loved the beach since she was a little girl, spending many summers in Avon-by-the-Sea and growing up to be one of the most beautiful blondes in the Jersey Shore. For the past ten years, she lived in the laid-back coastal town of Ventura, CA with her Jack Russell, Megan, who meant everything to her. She found joy in having her son Matthew enjoy the beach with her. She loved the company of her nieces and enjoyed seeing photos and videos of her grandniece and grandnephew.
Beth was a very successful, self-made professional in the global fragrance and essential oil industry. She started out as a clerk at Dragoco in Totowa, NJ. Within a year or so, she became a buyer, eventually working her way up to the executive level. Her colleagues have described her as a trailblazer for women in this industry. At the time of her passing, she worked at D & D Fragrance and Essential Oils in Garland, TX, with several clients in the Southern California region.
Beth is predeceased by her father Jack (2005) and her mother Georgine (2021). She is survived by her sons Austin and Matthew, brothers Brian (Angela) and Greg (Kelly), nieces Corrine (Chris), Shannon and Kaitlyn, grandniece Ilona and grandnephew Tijs.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Neptune Society of Santa Barbara, CA. A private memorial will be held with immediate family. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to dressforsuccess.org (We brighten the lives of women across the world).
