Fanny Martin

We regretfully announce the passing of Fanny "Fran" Martin on Saturday, May 20, 2023. Fran was born on November 8, 1934 to Sarah and Isadora Erlichman in New York City and grew up with siblings Danny, David, Max, Minnie, and Rebecca. She graduated from Passaic High School, and worked as an Accounts Payable Clerk for several companies including Panasonic, Daewoo and Scholastic News. She was married to the late John "Jack" William Martin, Jr, and is survived by her daughters Maxine and Pamela and granddaughter Rachel, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. After raising her children in Carlstadt, NJ, Fran enjoyed a long and active retirement in Deerfield Beach Florida. Her neighbors at Century Village describe her as a "spunky gal" who never stopped moving. She enjoyed zipping around town in her car (still driving at age 88!) and winning the jackpot at Four Corners Bingo.
