Shannon Pollock

Shannon Pollock, 47, of Dunedin, Florida, died unexpectedly on January 30, 2023. She was born in Mantua, New Jersey to J. FitzHugh (Skip) and Charlene Pollock (Dee) (née Lake) on February 27, 1975. She attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School in Swedesboro, NJ, and St. Margaret’s Elementary School in Woodbury Heights, NJ, where she developed a passion for basketball. She was a 1993 graduate of St. James High School in Carney’s Point, NJ, where she shined on the basketball court. After High School, Shannon moved to Safety Harbor, Florida and worked at The Dogwater Cafe. She then moved to Dunedin, Fl and started working for UPS until the time of her death. Shannon loved to have a good time and enjoyed hanging out with friends and family. Her greatest pleasure was being a mother to her daughter, Hayden. Shannon is survived by her partner, Michael, of Dunedin and their daughter, Hayden; Her mother, Dee and stepfather, Charlie Pitt; her sister Dana Swider and her husband, Brian; her stepbrother, Chuck Pitt and his wife Stacy; her stepbrother, Joe Pitt; her sister-in-law Heather Hefti and her husband Sean; her sister-in-law, Kelley Walsh; her nieces: Brooklyn and Hailey; her nephews: Conor, Joey and Colten; her two aunts, Patricia O’Connor and Sonya Vilary; many cousins; friends and co-workers she considered family; and her two cats, Edwin and Oscar. Shannon was predeceased by her father, Skip Pollock. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, February 4 at Weaver Park, 1258 Bayshore Blvd., Dunedin at 2:00 pm.
