OBITUARY
Sandra Schmidlapp Swift
October 23, 1937 – November 6, 2022

Sandra (“Sandy”) Schmidlapp Swift of Tampa Florida passed away on November 6th 2022 at the age of eighty five.
She was born on October 23rd 1937 as Sandra Schmidlapp in Cincinnati Ohio to her parents Lawrence and Clarinda Schmidlapp. Sandy was the youngest of three sisters, the others being Jean and Quinna.
Sandy is survived by her husband of 59 years, Peter Willard Swift who had two sons together, Larry and Andy. She had six grandsons, one granddaughter and one great grandchildren.
Sandy and her husband lived in many locations over the years including Walpole MA, Antigua in the British Virgin Islands, Chapel Hill North Carolina, Palm Coast FL, Arnold MD, and Tampa FL. She was passionate about politics and, as a life-long conservative, she enthusiastically embraced and supported dozens of conservative campaigns over the years. Sandy also love playing bridge and sharing fellowship with her friends and the congregations of the churches she supported.
Sandy was a devout member of both Good Shephard and Grace Lutheran Church in the Tampa area. She generously supported many charities including Food for the Poor, Operation Smile, Metropolitan Ministries, Childfund International and a host of other charities. Philanthropy was a passion for Sandy that impacted the lives of countless people in need.
She will always be remembered for her wit, intelligence, generosity and love of family. Sandy will be greatly missed by all of whose lives she touched.
