Lawrence Frank Baumiller

Lawrence (Larry) Frank Baumiller, 83 years young, went home December 6,2022 @ 5:40 a.m. at home in Dade City, Florida. He was born August 10, 1939 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Charles and Violet (Panner) Baumiller. Larry married RuthAnne (Schmidt) on August 25, 1962. He was a Retired Allegheny County Police Officer, Veteran of the US Navy, CCAC Associate's Degree in Law Enforcement, SWAT-Allegheny County Instructor at Allegheny County Police Academy and FireArms Instructor Police Officer-Traffic. Member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Dade City, FL. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years RuthAnne, children Ruth (Cissy Baumiller) Torres (and the late Nicolas), Lawrence Jr. (Deborah Drodge), Lorraine (Dan Cunningham), Roy (Kim Osselborn), Buddy; 23 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; multiple nieces,nephews and cousins; siblings, Ruth McKay (and the late Tim) and the late Charles Baumiller (Wendy), Howard Baumiller (Debbie). A Memorial Service will be in Pittsburgh, PA on December 30, 2022 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 66 Grant St., Pittsburgh, (Etna) PA 15223. Visitation with Family/Friends at 6:30 PM and Memorial Service at 7:00 PM. After service, please join the family in fellowship hall for a Covered Dish Celebration of Life. A Memorial Service will be in Dade City, Florida on January 9, 2023 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 37015 Orange Valley Dr., Dade City, FL 33525. Visitation with Family/Friends at 10:30 AM and Memorial Service at 11:00 AM with Burial at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at 1:00 PM. Celebration of Life at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Bertschy Hall. The family requests memorial tributes be directed to Larry Baumiller funeral fund to assist with final expenses and wishes.
