OBITUARY OF CHRISTOFER JENNINGS BARTLEY Christofer Jennings Bartley of Tampa, Florida, died Saturday, November 19th at the age of 71 from congestive heart failure. He was born to Constance (Swiger) and Rex Hartley in Morgantown, WV. Later Constance was remarried to Robert Bartley, who adopted Chris as his son. Chris graduated from West Virginia University with three BA’s in Marketing, Business Management, and Accounting. He started his career in the insurance industry and moved up to become the vice president for three different companies. At the age of 40 he switched his career to computer technology and became a systems engineer for a communications firm. He loved playing the guitar and formed a rock and roll band during his high school years. He continued to play throughout his life. He also had a love of parrots who entertained him and he entertained them. He had a wonderful gift of making people laugh and had a generous heart. He was preceded in death by his mother and fathers. He leaves behind his wife Sherry, daughter Christin Daniels with first wife Evelyn (Demidovich), brother Robb and his wife Kathy, nephews Austin and Conner and his wife Sarah, step-son Mark Quetgles and his wife Jordana, and three step-grandchildren Julian Quetgles, Madison Quetgles, and Austin Schulte.
