Joseph Walter Toczek

Joseph Walter Toczek of Corinth, TX, died on May 25, 2003 at the age of 83. He was born on December 26, 1939 in Rome, New York. After graduation he joined the Air Force and served for 6 years. He then worked as a civilian employee at Griffiss AFB in Rome until 1982 when he transferred to Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, OK as a Program Manager until his retirement in 1995. He met his wife, Pamela at Tinker AFB, and they married in 1985. He was an avid bowler and played every week on teams in Rome as well as Oklahoma City and scored one 300 game. They moved to Corinth, TX in 2002. He loved sports and watched college football as well as well as NFL. He enjoyed playing golf. He is survived by his wife, Pamela, stepdaughters Joey Rogers and Lee Ann Widyn, two grandchildren, Grant Widyn and Reagan Widyn, Denton TX, and a daughter, Carol Toczek, Rome NY.
