Obituary of Hilary Bulatovich
Hilary (Pattison) Bulatovich (83) of Fort Worth, Texas passed away November 14, 2022. Hilary was born in Woodbridge England to Robert and Hilda Pattison. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters (June, Mary, and Margie), beloved husband (Milo), and daughter (Tracie “Tray” Blackmon). GREATLY missed by daughters D’Anne (Paul) and Kristine (Wes), grandchildren (Paul (Sarah), Jor-el, Lisa (Jose), Britni (Steven), Wylie (Ashley), and Shelbie), great grandchildren (Samantha, Abi, Gage “Kylie”, Jaden, Hunter, Airik, Cannon, Karlee, Savanna, Saralyn, and Landyn), Sister Patricia, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Hilary came to the U.S. as an au pair at the age of 16 and lived in Maine where she met her beloved Milo in 1956. Milo and Hilary were married February 19, 1957. Milo was in the U.S. Air Force which provided many world travels and adventures until they retired in 1972 to Fort Worth, Texas. She spent her days crocheting, knitting, playing bingo, monthly trips to Winstar Casino, and watching (OVER and OVER) Mama Mia, Bohemian Rhapsody, Burlesque, and ANY British murder mystery! One of her most talked about trips was her bi-annual knitting retreats that she LOVED so much! Even though mom was a Texan by heart, everyone who met her knew without a doubt she was British by her accent that she never lost even after living in the states for more than 60 years. She would also where her union jack t-shirt every 4th of July asking “why are you celebrating, in my history books the British won!”….and toasting with her favorite glass of wine. Many friends and family have been on the receiving end of mom’s baby blankets, potholders, and numerous crochet/knitting items. We know they will be cherished for many years to come. She was known as Mom, Mum, Sister, Auntie Hilary, Grandma, “Grandmother”, Grandma Water, and as a GREAT friend to all. A small service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 @ 11:00am located at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211). A “Celebration of Life” will be held on the same day as her service starting at 1pm. The celebration will be at her daughter Kristine’s house located at 1016 Birmingham Briar Court, Crowley, TX 76036.
