Obituary of Dawn April Kasinger
Dawn Kasinger passed away peacefully at age 68, in her Fort Worth, TX home surround by her loved ones on Sunday October 2nd, 2022 after a long battle with end stage renal disease. Dawn was born to Robert and Gayle Brown in West Covina, CA on April 4th, 1954. She was the oldest of six children. She graduated from Walnut High School in 1972. She married Roy Lynn Kasinger on May 6th, 1973 and together they raised a son and daughter. She was a homemaker, but had many jobs throughout her life. For the last several years of her working career she was a PBX operator before she became permanently disabled. She loved with a big heart and made everyone she knew feel like they were family. Dawn was proceeded in death by her father; Robert Brown Jr. and sister; Robin Bishop before she passed away on October 2nd, 2022. She was survived by her mother; Gayle Brown, sibling’s; Robert “Bob” Brown (spouse Alisa), Todd Brown (spouse Becky), Susan Berkey (spouse Gary), Jon Brown, husband; Roy Kasinger Children; William “Billy” Kasinger, daughter Amanda “Mandy” Borg (spouse David), granddaughters; Raylynn Borg, Alice Kasinger, Haley Golden (spouse Avery), Riley Borg and Anna Borg, and great grandsons; Nathan and Noah Golden as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Dawn was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She often was referred to as momma Dawn because she always made everyone feel like they were one of her own. She loved her family and friends without limit. She was passionate and fiercely protective over those she loved. She was generous and kind. She loved everything Disney, especially Mickey Mouse and the Dodgers baseball. She loved to people watch wherever she went. She loved vibrant and colorful things and loved to give gifts to others. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date with close family and friends.
