David Preston Shealy

Dave was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He left this world suddenly on January 30th, 2023 at the age of 79. Even though a failing heart took him from us before we were ready the deep love he had for his family will live in our hearts always. He met and married the love of his life, Pat, in Gardena California. They were just shy of celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. They moved to Huntington Beach California where they lived for 40 years before relocating to Watauga, Texas. They had 2 daughters, Millie and Tina. Dave loved to travel; he was very proud of the many places his travels have taken him. He especially loved to cruise and had been on 58 adventures at sea. When he wasn’t traveling you would find him in his workshop doing woodworking. The many pens, pepper grinders, ice cream scoops and bowls he made will be treasured by all whom he gifted them too. Dave will be honored in a celebration of life on February 25th, 2023, at the Watauga Community Center 7901 Indian Springs Road 12:30 to 3:30 Always loved, Forever Missed, and Never Forgotten
