Charles Preston Brown

Charles P. Brown of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on February 2nd, 2023 at the age of 77. He was born on September 16th, 1945 in Williamson County to Sybil (Spears) Brown and Ted Brown. He grew up in Brady, Texas and later relocated to Fort Worth with his family where he graduated in 1962 from Diamond Hill High School. Most of those who knew him called him Papa and know that he loved his friends and family more than anything. He loved to tell jokes and make people laugh anytime he was around them, and his playful banter and loving personality brought joy to all who knew him. He had many accomplishments throughout his life, including an successful family-owned manufacturing business. Above all, he cherished quality time spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jerry Brown and son Damon Brown. He is survived in death by his son Craig Brown and Cherie Brown (wife); his two grandsons Dillon Brown and Ashley Sprouse (fiancé), Dalton Brown and Kaci Brown (wife); his great grandchildren Easton Brown, Rylon Brown, Emersyn Brown, Casey Pierson, Elle Pierson, and Gracie Pierson; and his sister Sandra Lile and Jimmy Lile (husband). A private memorial service is being held by the family in Fort Worth.
