Gary Francis Chiarella

Gary Francis Chiarella of Plantsville, CT passed away on Saturday, February 11 at the age of 61. Born on June 19, 1961, in Waterbury, CT, Gary was the son of Regina (Marino) Chiarella and the late Francis Chiarella. Following high school, Gary enlisted in U.S. Marine Corps where he proudly served his country. Gary earned his Bachelors degree in Business and enjoyed his career in the sales and marketing industry. Gary was quick to shake your hand, share a story and a laugh, and he genuinely enjoyed people. Gary was happiest when he was with his family and friends. He enjoyed all of his life experiences from his time in the military, visiting the beach, and spending time at backyard barbeques. Gary was also a talented drummer. He was a member of the Prospect Fife and Drum Corp. He maintained his passion and love of music and drumming throughout his life. Gary is preceded in death by his father Francis J. Chiarella and his son, Nicholas Aaron Chiarella. He is survived by his girlfriend and love of his life, Susan Kristofik and her daughter, Jennifer Kristofik, his mother Regina Chiarella of Naples, FL, his brother Michael Chiarella and sister-in-law Dorothy Gaspar Chiarella of Wolcott,CT, his sisters Marianne Chiarella of Medford, MA and Gina Chiarella Schum of Naples, FL and several nephews and a niece.
