Deanna Jean Nault

Deanna Jean Nault died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Lynnwood, Washington on May 28, 2020 at the age of 82.

Deanna was born in Seneca Kansas, the third youngest of ten children born to William Clement and Edith (Olberding) Kokenge. The Kokenge family moved to the Yakima Valley in April of 1949. Deanna married the love of her life, Daniel Nault on July 18, 1959. After they were married, they moved to the Seattle area where they devoted 60 years to each other and built a family together.

Deanna was a faithful member of the Creekside Church. She enjoyed family dinners, playing board games, singing church hymns, and quality time with her dear friends. She loved sewing, crocheting, and all things related to crafting. She will be remembered for her contagious laughter and her devotion to her family and friends.

Deanna is survived by her children Theresa Nault, Debbie (Jeff) Playter, and Kathy Chidester who all live in the greater Seattle area, along with her grandchildren Samuel Chidester, Marne (Todd) Haskins, Jonathan Tutt, Micah (Cheryl) Tutt, Jessica Playter, Sarah Playter, and her two great grandchildren Hayden and Kallen Johnson.

Deanna is survived by four siblings, Alice Serres, Jerene Champoux, Roy Kokenge, and Dan Kokenge. Her death is preceded by her parents and brothers Harry, Bill, and Albert Kokenge, and sisters Kay Holmberg and Elsie Gress.
