Family,
I’m sorry to hear of Ann’s passing. I have good memories of her and Bill coming to Marie and Walters with you kids when you all were young.
She was always good to me. Such a beautiful and sweet lady.
My heartfelt condolences to all the family.
Prayers for comfort and peace.

These were shared during her service in Florida.
Carrie: I love you mom I can't believe I’m never going to see you again. I know you're with daddy and I can picture you young and in your tight dress dancing with the most handsome man ever. Please give him a kiss for me
Courtenay Penick- She was one of my favorite great aunts. I've nothing but great memories of her. She always respected my opinions, even if we differed, and I always appreciated that.
Carly: When my boys were young, I asked Anna what the words were (I had been faking it with them) to the chocolate ice cream cone song. She told me that she wouldn’t teach me because then I wouldn’t need her. And she didn’t! When I had Tiff, I asked again and got the same reply. Then she pulled Tiff in her lap and sang it CLEARLY while eyeballing me. I memorized it that day. She sang it to my mom, my mom to me, me to my kids and now my grandbabies request it from me.

Erin- I’m not really sure what to say, all I can say is I love ya Annie. You could be a crabby lil ole lady but you were ours and ya damn well knew what you wanted couldn’t no one tell ya otherwise...I wonder where I got it from... I’m so glad I got to spend my adult years living closer to you and Kenzie got to meet her great great gramma. I promise I’ll try to make cornbread just how you like it (cause I got in trouble last time I didn’t do it right) and everytime I see a hummingbird I’ll tell it to send my Annie a lil message

Darlene: Short story long while I never made it to Annie's tea parties I do remember all the times I sat and drank coffee with her, on one occasion when she lived on Logan a coffee cup was carried home with me of course with the promise of it being returned.
