Where the sky touches the sea, you will find me.
James “Jimmy” Harley Brown passed away at the age of 61 on April 18, 2021.
Jimmy was born in Alexis, Illinois on May 16, 1959 to John Herbert Brown and Janet Mae Victor Everett. He is survived by his wife Pam O’Meara-Brown, Janet Everett (mom), Jesse Brown (son), Sean O’Meara (step-son), Jen Brown (daughter-in-law), Leslie, Kaydie and Mason (grandchildern) and Jasmine (our dog).
He spent a majority of his professional life as a member of the Carpenter’s Union in Nevada and Washington states. His passion for building is also shown through the building of hot rods in Washington and carried over in Nevada since his retirement from the Carpenter’s Union in 2009.
He has touched so many lives. He will be remembered for his “call it like it is” attitude, a fighter, his creativity, his signature panama hat, and his love for scuba diving and hot rods. He was a wonderful and caring friend to many, a great father, a loving son and devoted rock of a husband.
