Donald John Mroz

Donald John Mroz, 89, of Morristown, Tennessee passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023. He was born February 27, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Marlene J Mroz, and his cherished son Michael John Mroz, his father John Mroz, his mother Betty Guzausky, and brother Robert Mroz. Don is survived by his two loving daughters, Nancy (Mike) Hullinger and Donna (Brett) Zischke, and grandchildren Michael (Polly) Hullinger, Eric (Faith) Hullinger, and Brent (Michelle) Hullinger, and eight great grandchildren. Graveside service and interment will be at Beverly Cemetery in Blue Island, IL. Date to be determined. Don spent most of his career as a truck driver, but his talents for the ability to fix or build just about anything were boundless. He loved hot rods and fast cars. He loved gardening and any beauty that Mother Nature could provide. Don called home to a number of US states, including Illinois, Wisconsin, Florida, and Tennessee. The number of people that Don touched and befriended along the road of life is countless, and his final journey to heaven will not only be mourned for our earthly loss, but more so celebrated for all the gifts he left in our memories. Safe to say that Don is hauling his final load, pulling a double that is filled with love and kindness, and heading home to be with his beloved Marlene.
