Sean Michael Fitzgerald

Sean Michael Fitzgerald, native of Harahan, LA, passed away on January 18, 2023 at the age of 42. Sean was born on July 22nd to the late Patrick Fitzgerald and Sandra Lampley Halckias. Sean is survived by his mother Sandra Lampley Halckias, stepfather Robert Halckias, siblings Ryan Fitzgerald (Jessica), and twin sister Bridget Fitzgerald Estes (Charlie), grandmother Shirley Lampley, nieces Ashlynn and Katelynn, nephew Peyton, uncle Ronald Lampley, aunts Sandra de Blanc (the late J.C.) and Erin Maffee (Glenn), and many cousins. Sean is preceded in death by his beloved father Patrick Fitzgerald, grandfather Adam Lampley, grandmother Adalaine Adams Fitzgerald, great-grandmother Odette Leblanc Lampley, and aunt Susan Lampley Brown. Sean was an avid animal lover, enjoyed lifting weights, loved being an uncle, and was proud to be Irish. He will be remembered for his keen sense of humor, adventurous spirit, forgiving nature, and above all, Sean loved his family fiercely. “To know him is to love him,” and he is most certainly loved. Sean will be deeply missed and will forever remain in our hearts.
