Ellis Joseph Narcisse Sr.

Ellis J. Narcisse, Sr. passed away peacefully at home on February 2, 2023 at the age of 92. He was born on March 11, 1930 to the late Dolores Pepin and the late Darril Narcisse, Sr. Ellis was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Ellis is survived by his wife of 68 years, Joy D. Narcisse. Father of the late Lt. Col. Ellis J. Narcisse Jr. (Claudia), the late Terry G. Narcisse, Stacey (Sylvester) Chatman, Cindy Bolton (the late Glenn Bolton), Jeffery (Bonnie) and Guy (Diann) Narcisse. Brother of the late Darril Narcisse Jr. (Joyce) and Myra Young (the late Wallace Young). Loving grandfather “Papa” to 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ellis was a bricklayer for Oscar Daste & Sons. After retirement he worked part-time as he wanted to stay busy. A Celebration of Life Service to be held on Saturday, March 11th at Celebration Church, 2001 Airline Dr, Metairie La, 70001. Visitation with family at 10:00 am. Service at 11:00am.
