Brownella Brickey Nicolaides

Brownella “Brownie” Brickey Nicolaides, age 89, born April 16, 1933 and passed away on January 20, 2023. Beloved wife of 37 years to the late Nick Nicolaides. Daughter of the late Arvel and Oma Garrett Brickey. Sister-in-law of Anna Nicolaides Gilmore (Dr. George Gilmore). Brownie was born in San Antonio, Texas, then became a resident of Orleans Parish before moving to Jefferson Parish the past 30 years. She worked for many florists in the Orleans and Jefferson Parish area. She was recently the former employee of Winn Dixie stores at many locations for more than 25 years as a skilled florist. A Memorial Service will be held at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 8630 Jefferson Highway, River Ridge, La on Saturday, February 4, 2023 with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon and service to follow at 1:00 pm.
