OBITUARY
David Ray Perryman
August 1, 1950 – March 17, 2023

David Ray Perryman, 72, of Shawnee Mission, Kansas went to be with his Lord on March 17, 2023. David the son of Jack Thomas Perryman and Emma Lee (Cornine) Perryman came into this world on August 1, 1950 in Marshall, Missouri and lived a full life.
David’s pleasures were simple. He loved his riding mower and making sure his yard had a manicured along with listening to worship music on K-Love. Facebook was his friend in keeping connected to others. David’s strong faith kept him going daily and is actually how he came to meet his wife Pamela. Pam had a friend who asked her to pray for David as he battled his pain and eventually she had the opportunity to meet him at a pray meeting. They were actually friends for 15 years before they married in 1987 at Cross Points Church. Pam was there by his side when he passed.
The Hy-Vee in Mission was a place of love for David. He served as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army for 26 years and Hy-Vee Mission was his home. The employees and the customers all knew David and his smile and kindness drew them to him.
David is predeceased by one brother, Neil Perryman and two sisters, Brenda Jeanette Lewis and Jackie Perryman along with his parents Jack and Emma Perryman.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Pamela of the home, one brother, Jason Perryman, Ft. Scott, KS and one sister, Rose Hay, Overland Park, KS.
There will be a Celebration of Life on April 14, 2023 from 2-4 PM at Sylvester Powell Jr. Gym, 6200 Martway, Mission, KS. Please enter thru the back entrance and additional parking can be found across the street on the east side.
