Shirley Eliason Neely

Shirley Eliason Neely went to her resurrection on March 8, 2023. She was born in Ramsay, Michigan, on December 18, 1935, to Carl Oscar and Fannie Eliason. Shirley married William Rodgers Neely in March 1957, and he preceded her in death on October 5, 2008. She was a registered nurse and held an advanced degree from UTD. For most of her professional life, she worked at Parkland Memorial Hospital. Shirley is survived by her daughter, Susan (Susi) Byram, son and daughter-in-law Thomas Rodgers and Jennifer Neely, and grandson, Matthew Rodgers Byram. Memorial services will be held at Arapaho United Methodist Church, 1400 West Arapaho Road, Richardson, Texas, on Monday March 20, 2023 at 3 pm with inurnment following in the Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Arapaho United Methodist Church Columbarium and Peace Garden.
