Stanley Charles Goff

Stanley C. Goff, 89, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully on May 05, 2022. He was born on May 31,1932, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Elsworth and Gladys Lockner. He graduated from Roanoke High School in 1951. Stan served his country with great pride from 1953-1955 during the Korean War. After returning home from the Army, Stan drove a truck for Coca-Cola, and later became self-employed in the trucking business. Stan was married to Shirley Holbrook Goff for thirty seven years. He and Shirley were active members of the First Assembly of God in Fort Wayne. Stan’s hobbies were church events, food drives for the community, woodworking and craft shows. Survivors are: sons, Paul (Paula) Goff of Roanoke Indiana; Randy (Tina) Goff of Hudson Indiana; Gary (Donna) Holbrook of Macy Indiana; daughters, Julie (Jim) Argerbright of Columbia City, Indiana; Cheryl (Donald) Bolding of Georgia; sister, Gwili Goff of North Carolina; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Stan is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Goff; son, Greg Goff; parents, Elsworth and Gladys Lockner; sister, Phyllis; and granddaughter, Brooke Traxler. Visitation and services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the First Assembly of God, 1400 West Washington Center Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46825. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at for the Goff family.
