Ed was a dear friend of mine since my first day at work, July 26, 1976. He was patient in teaching me to be the best at what I did, and that is why I so enjoyed doing title searching. We shared many happy times including birthday greetings, leaving a birthday card in hidden places around the office, eventually they were found. I remember putting one of Ed's birthday cards in the men's bathroom before work had began. I'm sure he always wondered how that card got in the men's bathroom. I will truly miss Ed. RIP my friend, until we meet again.

Barb, you may not remember me, but I worked at Chicago Title and spent time in your home with you and Ed. I’m deeply sorry for your loss. You’re in my prayers as are your girls and their families. I remember each of you fondly and deeply regret having lost touch I remember Ed’s pipes. I don’t remember cigars, though. May God and peace be with you and comfort you in this time of sorrow.

Rest in Peace Brother Kuhns
We were fraternity brothers at IU. It's been a long time but I remember riding in his late 1950's VW. Wow, that's a long time ago. Ed gave me several rides to back to Indy. He drove while I defrosted the windshield with an old rag. He was a calming influence on all of us. A very good guy.

Ed was a very close friend of mine. We’ve hunted together every year since 1987. We always shared family updates, discussed IU Basketball and had many other great conversations even though Ed wasn’t necessarily the jabber-box type. Just the facts with little opinion sprinkled in. I very much respected Ed and viewed him as a true down to earth friend with natural, genuine integrity. I’m going to dearly miss my good friend, especially during the Fall and Spring seasons. I will never forget you Ed and I will forever cherish all of our hunting days. RIP my friend.

I only met Ed once at Barb's 70th birthday party. I was so glad to finally meet and put a face to the name. I know he was a wonderful man because Barb is such a wonderful woman and friend. God bless the entire family & may God's peace be with you through this very difficult time. You are in my daily prayers.
