Obituary of Christine Lynn Kuiper
Christine Lynn (Coley) Kuiper, 70, of Demotte, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Cumberland Pointe Health Campus. She was born in Rensselaer, Indiana, April 29, 1952, to Troy and Clara “Louise” (Watkins) Coley. Chris attended Rensselaer Central High School. She married the love of her life, Andrew “Glenn” Kuiper on October 3, 2003. Glenn swept her away to Poland, Indiana, where they made each other laugh and cared for one another, in sickness & in health, for nearly nineteen years. Sadly, Glenn passed away July 21, 2022. Chris and Glenn loved hanging out with friends. In her earlier days in Poland, Chris loved bartending and serving at the local pub. She was a part of the Red Hat Society and was a social butterfly. She was the life of the party! She loved to karaoke and dance, had an appreciation for horror movies, and she enjoyed going to Red Lobster when she had the chance. You’d often find her wearing her favorite color, purple. She loved her family and her fur babies! Chris cherished the ability to connect with friends and family from all over, on Facebook! She was an online viewer of First Church and loved the Lord. Chris was a fighter but her physical body was weary. We pray that she has been reunited with Glenn and others who have gone before her, including her mother, Clara Louise. Chris leaves behind to cherish her memory: her children, Michael (Ronni) Garcia and Amanda (Daryl) Gann; Glenn’s children, Angela (Michael) Bleau, Andrew (Ashley) Kuiper, Kathrine (Aaron) Monroe, and Joseph (Jasmine) Kuiper and their families; brothers, Tom (Barb) Coley and Robert Coley; sister, Frances Coley; grandchildren, Evan (Kailey) Garcia, Ethan Garcia, Aubrey Garcia, and Kobi Gann; a great-grandchild, Nova Garcia; and a niece, more like a sister, Kathy (Gery) Payne. Chris was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; her parents, Troy and Clara Louise Coley; a brother, Jack Coley; and three sisters, Schelvy Jean Whiteman, Gladys Krug, and Darlene Denham. A Celebration of Life is pending for springtime. Neptune Society is in charge of cremation arrangements. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at: for the Kuiper family.
