Obituary of Kenneth Harlen Feltch Jr.
Kenneth Feltch Jr., 68, passed away on January 30, 2023 at his home in Houston, TX. He was born to Kenneth Feltch Sr. and Elaine (McMahon) Feltch on August 21, 1954 in Woburn, MA. For years, Ken worked in HVAC in Saginaw, MI and continued in Houston, TX after relocating to care for his Father who was ill at the end of his life. Dad, Brother, Coach, Friend, Papa Deyo put 'em up, put 'em up, for months as cancer took a devastating toll on his body. Continuing to watch cooking and travel shows, golf and old movies while outside on his patio reading the Houston Chronicle after years of enjoying the Saginaw News when he was in Mid-Michigan. Anyone that knew Ken, knew he was uniquely himself. His interests ranged as far and wide as the eye could see; from the etymology of a word to Julia Child. From history making sports moments that shocked the world, to little league stories he could recall with his umpire-like precision 25 years later. He was also an avid napper (snorer) who never missed an opportunity for a two-a-day nap on the weekends. We lost an incredible cook, story teller, golfer, lover of music, and wordsmith. His impact on those around him will be felt for a lifetime, while his stories and humor lives on in his friends and family. Ken is survived by his brothers Mark Feltch (Ann), Michael (Mara), Timothy (Connie), sister Susan (Mel) Schrader and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his daughter Chelsea Wolcott (Oliver) and son Trey Feltch, grandchild Easton Wolcott, and former spouse Pam Feltch. In lieu of flowers, please stop using Round-Up and don't skimp on the good butter, that's what Ken would have wanted you to do. In accordance with Ken's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Off to Oz he goes.
