Whitney, Joseph age 96, Formerly of Prior Lake and Bloomington, Veteran of WWII, Army passed away on May 23rd, 2023. Preceded in death by wife Ariel (Ruschmeyer); son Allan; parents, Alma and William Whitney; sister, Maryanne; brother, Francis; sister Joann; brother Gerald. Survived by son, Brian L. Whitney & wife Janet Summerly; daughter in law, Joni Jenc; brother, James; sister, Betty (Lloyd) Johnson; sister, Carol Osterhiem. Services will be held on Wednesday, June 7th at 2:00 pm with a visitation one hour prior at 1:00 pm at Emmaus Lutheran Church, 8443 2nd Ave. S., Bloomington. Internment TBD at Buffalo Lake Cemetery.
