I hope that the condolences,  expressions,  and support from friends and family members, will help you during your Shiva.  I have only very lovely remembrances of what a kind, patient, and clever guy he was.  He had a good chuckle.

Marsha & I have been blessed to know Royce these past four years since we began attending Trinity UMC.  He was a man of faith who touched many lives with his kind demeanor and sincerity!  His character included the traits of gentleness, honesty, integrity and politeness.  He will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

His Journey's Just Begins
Don't think of him as gone away his journey just begun, life holds so many facets  this earth is only one.
Just think of him resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort.  Where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away.
And think of him as living in our hearts of those he touched.
For nothing loved is ever lost, and he was loved so much.

Dear Evelyn and family,

When I did my student teaching at VHS in the fall of 1995, Royce was so very kind to me my last three weeks. I was so stressed out and would sit in my vehicle crying before going in to work. Almost every morning those last three weeks Royce knocked on the window and said, "Come on, Shari, you only have 'x' days left. You can do this." 

I truly don't think I would have made it through those last few weeks without that kindness from Royce. Here I am now, 2 and 3/4 years from retiring.

God bless Royce - he was one of the kindest people I met back then.

Elaine, Edwina, and Evelyn, I was sad to hear about your dad.  He was always so nice to me when I would stay the night with Elaine.  Some of my favorite memories have your parents in them and us sitting around the table talking.  I love you ALL MORE 🩷🩷
