Bill worked his entire career at Central Freight Lines and retired after 43 years. Story goes, he had to promise not to get any more speeding tickets in order to get the job. Bill built many great relationships with his coworkers and customers over the years which lasted through his retirement years. He really enjoyed working in his yard and taking care of the home he built and lived in for 44 years. Bill loved to hunt and fish and early in retirement, you could find him fishing somewhere around the county on any given day. He really enjoyed having all his family together and smoking briskets to serve with all the trimmings. There was never a shortage of food.
Bill is survived by his two daughters Amanda Wright and husband Barry of Crowley TX; Christine Hall and husband Eddie of Caddo Mills TX. Six Grandchildren; Tyler Wright, Austin Kern, Lauren Wright, Victoria Wright, Jacob Hall, and Sydnee Wright. Bill is also survived by his sister Betty Ann Dugan and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother John E. Dugan Jr.
