Karla Bergenthal

Bergenthal, Karla Johanna 95 years, passed away at home in Western Springs on May 17, 2023. Born in Haynau, Germany on June 8, 1927. Karla was a German war bride married in Erlangen, Germany on June 17, 1947. She was surrounded by her loving husband, Walter, of 75 years and children at time of death. She was preceeded by her son Kim Eric (Cynthia) and survived by sons Rev. Guy (Debra), Drew (Noelle), daughters Lisa (John) Mullarkey, Lori (Rich) Jarmakowicz. She was a beloved grandmother to Derek Bergenthal, Tera and Drew Mullarkey and Claudia and Britta Jarmakowicz.
