Nancy was a good friend in the 1990’s when we were co-workers at the 911 Center. We were both avid readers and traded many, many books. We mostly worked the graveyard shift so had many hours together to share stories, and enjoyed her accounts of growing up with her siblings on the streets of San Francisco and her “ Harley” years in Oakland.
She was both a Wild Child AND a Flower Child!!
She and Glenda Britz and myself and a couple others had a birthday club where we went to dinner and a movie every month and celebrated our friendships.
Miss you, Miss Nancy!!

I remember Nancy as an interesting and unique woman. She spoke her mind and advocated for her profession. She was an amazing emergency communications officer and really showed what dedication to our profession is all about.

Nancy helped train me as a 9-1-1 Dispatcher back when we still wrote on cards. In her very unique way she "impressed" upon me the importance of doing things correctly and completely. She was a very trusted friend and I will miss her greatly.

May she now have eternal peace and rest, and may Perpetual Light shine upon her!

I worked with Nancy for many years at the Ada County Sheriff's Office in the 9-1-1 Emergency Center. Nancy was an old soul and had a heart bigger than the whole world. If you were Nancy's friend, you were blessed. She was a woman of several words and opinions and didn't mind sharing them with you. I loved Nancy, I loved her heart and I loved her dedication to her family and friends. I am very sorry that I lost track of Nancy after she retired. I thought of her often and I will miss her.
