Julie Henricks Flynn
November 13, 1933 – September 9, 2020
Julie Henricks Tullis Flynn was born on November 13, 1943 in Nashville TN and died on September 9. 2020 in Chipita Park, CO, embraced by the unconditional love of her family.
She enjoyed a full and happy life with traveling, tennis, golf, skiing and bridge among her activities. A passionate animal lover, Julie's pets were never far from her side, especially Brindle and Muggs. Each spring she loaded the car with her pets and a case of diet coke and sang Broadway tunes as she drove to Colorado for the summer. In late fall she reversed course to travel to Pelican Sound in Estero Fl. for the winter. Her sense of humor and welcoming smile will be remembered by all.
She is survived by her beloved husband Col. Larry Flynn, USAF Ret. She is also survived by her daughter Robin (Sabrina)of Guffey, Colorado, her son Marshall Tullis of Austin, TX and brother Steven Henricks of Harlingen, TX.
She was preceded in death by her precious son, Jeff Onstead. She has three step children: Kevin ( Kate) Reston, VA, Brian (Julie) Omaha, NE and Erinn (Lucinda) of Albuquerque, NM. Mimi also had five grand children: Maura, Jack, Conor, Elizabeth and Eamon.
The family would like to recognize Abode Hospice and Gentle Shepherd Home Care for their compassionate and loving care of Julie during her last months. There will be a celebration of her life in the Spring in Florida and in Chipita Park, Colorado next Summer.
