James “Jim” Ronald Miller, 85, passed Tuesday October 13th, 2020 in Aurora, CO.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Thursday October 29th, 2020, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 13120 E. Kentucky Avenue, Aurora, CO. Burial will follow at 1:00pm at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Avenue, Denver, CO. Due to COVID guidelines,100 people are allowed at the church for the service. Immediate family members will be allowed at the burial. Arrangements are made by Neptune Funeral Home. A Color Guard, honoring Jim’s military service, will be provided by American Legion Post 1.

James “Jim” Ronald Miller was born March 9th, 1935 in Dalhart, TX to John Henry and Esther Mary Miller. He graduated from Dalhart Senior High School in 1953. He married his loving wife of 53 years, Marlene on October 29th, 1963. He worked as a Pattern Maker for 29 years; first for Pentagon in Chicago, Il., and then for General Iron Works in Englewood, CO. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He served in the Army and ended his tenure as a Corporal. He was also a founding member of the Queen of Peace Catholic Church, and his name remains on a brick in the church to this day.

Jim is predeceased by wife Marlene, parents John Henry and Esther Mary, siblings Eilene, Patricia “Pat”, Donald “Don”, and Larry.

Jim is survived by his children James “Scott”, wife Dawn, John, wife Tamera “Tami”, daughter Pamela “Pam”, husband Jon, and Mark; grandchildren Erin, Kathryn “Katie”, Thomas, Ethan, Sierra, Miles, and Julia; and great-grandchildren Patrick and Jacob.
