Obituary of Bethalea Dresbach
Bethalea “Beth” peacefully joined the Lord May 20, 2023, in her sleep of natural causes in her home in Loveland, CO. Beth was born to Richard “Dick” and Mary Dresbach on July 4, 1939, in Centralia WA. She graduated from Molalla High School in Molalla OR in 1957. She was a nurse for over thirty years. She worked in convalescent homes and the V. A. Hospitals in both Philadelphia, PA and Denver, CO. One of her great joys was sharing her initials with her coworkers and patients. B. A. D. She soon became known as Bad to the Bone Beth. All shared in the amusement that such a sweet and kind woman would be known as BAD. After her retirement in 2001, she volunteered at foodbanks and charities. She gave to various charities. Her primary gift to charity and main hobby was crocheting. Beth crocheted many artistic and religious pieces for churches, family, and friends. She also crocheted blankets, hats, and sweaters for children’s charities. She donated her time in teaching crochet to friends, family, various vacation bible schools, and most notably to women during a mission trip to Rwanda, Africa. Beth also loved to sew by hand anything she put her mind to. When not working inside, she loved to work in the yard and feeling grounded to the Earth. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Mary Dresbach and her son Adam Bryce White. She is survived by her siblings Rose Gotseff, Lloyd Dresbach, and Mimi Loveridge. Her children Anna White, Leslie Talent, and Ruth Ryther. She has eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was a strong believer in the Lord. She had been a member of the Loveland Church of the Nazarene for the past seven years. She loved to read devotionals and her bible. Beth’s last request was to have her remains scattered with her father and son at Guanella Pass.
