Obituary of Joseph A. Gosselin
Joseph Gosselin, age 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 18th, 2023 at 11:10 PM at the Orlando VA Community Care Center after a long and hard-fought battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Joe was born on March 8th, 1938 to Pierre and Lilianne Gosselin of Biddeford Maine. Joe was the 4th of 6 children in the family. Upon graduating from St. Louis High School Joe enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country for 23 years with tours of duty in the U.S., Spain, Taiwan and Korea. Upon retiring from the USAF his love of aircraft electronics took him to his new opportunity in life and worked with the Piper Aircraft company in Vero Beach Florida before then moving on to work with the State of Florida and Tramwel Crow. Joe was a very special person and if you became his friend, you were his friend for life. With a wealth of hands-on experiences under his belt in fixing anything and everything he was always there for us with a helping hand, an offer of guidance and a big smile. Joe loved the “Cruise” lifestyle and traveled the Caribbean, South Pacific , Europe and Alaska with his wife Peggy. His being part of our lives has made us all better for it and we will be forever grateful for our time with him Joe is survived by his loving family: Wife: Peggy Gosselin Children: Daughter - Susan Mau and husband Richard Mau Son - Robert Gosselin and wife Lori Gosselin Grandchildren: Ricky Mau and wife Mikaela Mau Rebecca Mau Joseph Mau Rachel Gosselin Brother and Sisters: Doris Guay Cecile Daudier Jeanine Powell Normand Gosselin Albert Gosselin The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to aid in the research and development of a cure for Pancreatic Cancer.
